Like with everything nowadays, we are experiencing life more and more through our screens. Our phones and our computers are powerful pathways to connection and communication but are limited experientially. Screens work on the currency of attention and are designed to hook you for as long as possible. Music does that too and live music all the more. It asks you to be present and to engage actively (not just passively). Don’t just watch and hear the music, but feel and experience the music, played live, with heart by a master. We recommend downing phones sometimes and being present in a live music setting you’ll realise at that point what you were missing (which you can post about later anyway).
Want to create a great live music experience together? Reach out, we’d love to hear from you.
